Physical Details | How to Use | Packaging | Material and Care | My Experience | Overall
The BMS Factory Pillow Talk Cheeky is a rechargeable, cordless, wand-style vibrator. It’s also undeniably cute. Strawberry pink (though you can get it in blue too), crisscrossed with diamond-style patterns, and embellished with a Swarovski crystal for the power button, this is a toy for people with a princessy sense of style. Fluffy, cutesy, adorable.
Wand-style, but not wand-sized; it’s a tiny mini-wand, only about 8 inches long (the head itself is roughly 2×1.5 inches). Still, it provides broad, proper wand-style stimulation, best for people who like their vibrations dispersed over a larger surface area.
How to Use the Pillow Talk Cheeky
The BMS Factory Pillow Talk Cheeky is controlled by the Swarovski crystal gem button, pictured above.
- Turn it on by pressing the power button.
- Press and hold the button to increase vibration strength. When you stop pressing the button, it’ll remain at that strength.
- Apply against your body. Though the Cheeky is designed for clitoral use, it can be used anywhere and against whatever body part you have (except anally, as it doesn’t have a flared base).
- To turn off, tap the power button.
- To activate the travel lock, press the button 3 times (quickly). You’ll feel 2 vibrations, and then it’ll be locked. To deactivate the travel lock, do the same thing.
The BMS Factory Pillow Talk Cheeky is packaged cleanly and simply in a white box. When you lift the top cover, it’s embedded snugly in a white container, and can be lifted via a white ribbon. I love the overall look of this packaging — very Apple-esque.
Inside the box, you receive the vibrator, a short instruction manual, a USB charger, and a white satin pouch.
The box also contains a little white cleaning brush to clean the ribbed metallic section around the head on the Cheeky.
Material and Care
The BMS Factory Pillow Talk Cheeky is made from silicone and ABS plastic. This makes it bodysafe, non-porous, and non-toxic.
It’s not fully waterproof. It’s water-resistant, so you can clean it using a damp cloth/toy cleaner or warm, soapy water, but don’t submerge it in water.
If you’d like to add lubricant (which I recommend), try a good quality water-based lubricant like my favourite Sliquid H2O.
This toy is charged via an included USB charging cable. The pink Cheeky‘s input is at the very base – a little pink cap falls off to reveal a charging hole. Annoyingly, the cap falls off even when you don’t want it to. While it’s charging, an LED light will flash. The light will be solid once it’s finished charging.
My Experience with the Pillow Talk Cheeky
In terms of vibration strength, I find that the Pillow Talk Cheeky is moderately strong. It can’t be compared to the likes of the Doxy Die Cast or the Magic Wand Rechargeable, but then again — that would be unfair. It is very small, much more discrete/smaller/quieter than the typical mains-powered wands, and it’s also very cheap — only $58.50 USD. It also errs on the rumbly side also, which gives it some satisfying oomph.
The Cheeky doesn’t fail to give me orgasms. They’re not as easy to get as with stronger vibrators, but I suspect this would still suit many people. The vibrations are just strong enough and rumbly enough.
Noise wise, the Cheeky is great — very quiet. There’s no way this could be heard through closed doors/walls.
To be overly picky, though, I want the Cheeky to be a pinch stronger and waterproof. It’s 2019 — water-resistant isn’t enough anymore. When you get to this $50+ price range, it’s super common for toys to be waterproof.
My last quip — that metallic band around the head is a little annoying. Grooves are all fun and good until you try to actually clean them after a round of play.
Overall Thoughts – BMS Factory Pillow Talk Cheeky review
The BMS Factory Pillow Talk Cheeky is a fairly decent buy. It has moderate strength, some rumbles, and it’s rechargeable. I wish it was properly waterproof though, and just a pinch stronger.
If you’re okay with a water-resistant toy, though, and you’re looking for a small, bodysafe, affordable wand, then give this one a good consider.
