Review: Swan Maximum Bullet Vibrator

September 20, 2024 by Miss Ruby Leave a Comment

A shiny, rumbly goddess. Read on for my Swan Maximum Bullet Vibrator review!

Design | How to Use | Packaging | Material and Care | My Experience | Overall

Design

The Swan Maximum Bullet Vibrator is a new vibrator from BMS Factory. I tend to be quite impressed with Swan products, so I was interested in trying this one. And isn’t it beautiful? I’m a sucker for shiny things, including shiny vibrators…

The $49 Swan Maximum appears, at first glance, like a fairly basic vibrator. It is bullet and lipstick-shaped with a hard cylindrical body and a lovely, tapered tip. And with that shiny plastic body, it reminded me of the original We-Vibe Tango — it’s a tried and true design, one that excels at pinpointed pleasure.

It’s also waterproof and rechargeable, woohoo!

The Swan Maximum Bullet Vibrator comes with a silicone “Comfy Cuff”. It’s optional and removable and designed to give you the option of dampening any vibrations that rattle against your fingers as you hold the vibe.

Because it’s removable and very stretchy, of course I immediately started thinking about other vibes I’d want to use this one. It’ll fit any bullet-shaped vibe with a minimum diameter of 0.75″ and a max of probably around 1.5″. It certainly provides a nice cushioned grip and it does dampen any vibrations that transfer to your hand.

Unlike the Tango, the Swan Maximum Bullet Vibrator has a 2-button design and an incremental motor; this means that you don’t click-click-click the buttons to increase or decrease speed, but rather hold down the buttons and the motor will gradually grow stronger; from a gentle purr to a fierce roar.

How to Use the Swan Maximum Bullet Vibrator

  • The Swan Maximum Bullet Vibrator has two arrow buttons, one larger and one smaller.
  • To turn it on, press either button once. It’ll switch on at the lowest vibration strength.
  • Press it against your body. Though designed for clitoral use, it could be used against other body parts like nipples or the shaft of a penis. However, don’t use this anally as it doesn’t have a safety-flared base.
  • Hold the large arrow to increase the motor’s strength; this has incremental speed so the longer you press, the stronger it’ll be.
  • To decrease strength, press and hold the smaller arrow button.
  • If you feel like your hand is vibrating too much, you could add the silicone comfy cuff that came with it; it just slides easily over the bullet.
  • To turn it off, simultaneously tap the small arrow button or both buttons.

Packaging

The Swan Maximum Bullet Vibrator comes packaged neatly. When you flip open the lid, you’re treated by a white satin bag inside the box.

All in all, you receive the Bullet, the Comfy Cuff, the USB charging cable, a BMS Factory thank you card, the instructions manual, and the satin drawstring pouch.

Material and Care

The Swan Maximum Bullet Vibrator is made from shiny ABS plastic and the removable Comfy Cuff is made from silicone. These are fantastic materials for a sex toy because they’re easy to clean, hygienic, and hypoallergenic.

The Swan Maximum Bullet Vibrator is completely IPX7 waterproof. To clean, I’ve been simply rinsing the whole thing in warm, soapy water before and after each use. You could also add a dedicated sex toy cleaner if you like, but mild soapy water has worked for me.

If you’d like to add lubricant (which I always recommend), try a good quality, water-based lube like my favourite basic Sliquid H2O.

To charge, attach the magnetic end of the charger (included) against the two little metal pins at the base of the vibe.  Connect the cord to your computer or a USB wall adapter. A light will glow while it’s charging and disappear when it’s fully charged.

My Experience with the Swan Maximum Bullet Vibrator

Honestly, I was floored by how much I loved this vibrator.

I’m no stranger to bullet vibes — my favourite bullet vibes are my personal choice whenever I want a quick, easy orgasm.

And I’m pleased to say that the Swan Maximum Bullet Vibrator has made it into my small collection of favourite bullet vibrators!

The Swan Maximum Bullet Vibrator is extremely rumbly. It rumbles deep and true. And that power! The top strengths are NOT for the faint of heart. I can’t quite tolerate the top speeds (which is saying a lot), and I settle around the  75% mark. I can pick this one when I don’t want to work hard or wait long for an orgasm — its tapered tip delivers delicious pinpoint stimulation, and with those unrelenting vibrations, I am able to be a pillow princess.

People, this one is strong. It gives me We-Vibe Tango feels, but yet it’s only $49…

Swan Maximum review by Miss Ruby Reviews

My complaints?

I really don’t like the buttons. They’re hard to press and when you’re in the throes of masturbation, your brain can’t really figure out which is the larger arrow button and which is the smaller arrow button. When I want to attempt a stronger level, more than once I’ve accidentally just turned it off. And the incremental speed options sound nice on paper except that I’m boring and like predictable reliability… and that means I want to know exactly which level I’m on so that I can click to it quickly next time.

Still, those gripes aren’t a big deal and certainly not a dealbreaker for me.

Swan Maximum Bullet Vibrator Review – Overall Thoughts

The Swan Maximum Bullet Vibrator is a fabulous bullet vibrator for the breezy price tag of $49 (plus, you can get 10% off if you shop at Peepshow Toys with code RUBY ). I’m a fan of the deliciously rumbly motor and firm, pinpoint stimulation. This is an easy one to recommend. If you’re looking for a staple bullet vibe for the bedroom, here it is.
