Design
The Soroya Wave is an “indulgent” rabbit sex toy from LELO. Luxury is what they’re going for here and, physically, this toy is dazzling.
A rabbit sex toy stimulates your body in two ways. The smaller arm vibrates to provide clitoral stimulation, and the large shaft simultaneously vibrates to provide internal pleasure.
LELO also carries the LELO Soroya 2, which looks the same but only vibrates. However, the Soroya Wave takes this design a step further with movement; the internal shaft waves up and down in a “come hither” motion to manually stimulate your G-spot.
The LELO Soroya Wave comes with features you’d expect from a luxury sex toy. It is waterproof, rechargeable, and bodysafe. It has strong motors in both the smaller clitoral arm and the larger internal shaft. The handle has a hollow loop that you can use for an easier grip. There are 8 vibration patterns (which include an assortment of vibrations in the clitoral arm only, waving only, and waving plus clitoral and/or G-spot vibrations).
My LELO Soroya Wave is in their beautiful Midnight Blue colour. It’s a deep electric blue and I absolutely adore it. This specific shade is hard to find in sex toys, and I can’t get enough of its dazzle. If you prefer more traditional sex toy colours, though, you can also choose Deep Rose (a purplish pink) or Black.
How to Use the LELO Soroya Wave
The LELO Soroya Wave is controlled by 3 buttons near the base of the handle.
- Unlock your Soroya by pressing and holding the (+) and (-) buttons together for 3 seconds until a light turns on. It is now in standby mode.
- Insert the long shaft of the Soroya Wave so that the internal arm is resting against your G-spot and the external arm is resting against your clitoris.
- Press the (+) button to turn on.
- Press the (+) button again to increase the vibration strength.
- Press the central (()) button to switch between the 8 vibration patterns. The waving motion will come on too (but vary from mode to mode).
- Press the (–) button to reduce vibration strength.
- Press and hold the central (()) button to turn it off.
Packaging
The LELO Soroya Wave is packaged luxuriously in a sleek black and gold box. The packaging is well-made and feels fancy. The Soraya can be seen through a clear window on the front.
Inside the box, you receive the Soraya Wave, a black satin storage pouch, a USB charging cable, a sample packet of LELO’s lubricant, a warranty card, an instruction manual and a contest card.
Material and Care
The LELO Soroya Wave is coated in bodysafe silicone, making this non-porous and non-toxic (free of phthalates). This specific silicone finish is very matte, silky, and soft to the touch. The gold detailing along the mid-section of the toy is made of ABS plastic, another solid material. This makes the LELO Soroya Wave bodysafe.
To clean, LELO recommends spraying your LELO Soroya Wave with toy cleaner and then rinsing. I usually just wash it in warm, soapy water before and after each use. Allow it to dry before storing it away. See the manual for full cleaning instructions.

This toy is rechargeable. The charging port is at the base (there’s a little hole). Insert the needle-end of your USB charging cord (included in the box) into that hole, then plug it into your computer or a USB wall adaptor. While charging, an LED light will flash. When it’s fully charged (after about 2 hours), the LED light will become steady. A full charge should get you up to 2 hours of playtime. The battery will also give you 90 days of standby time.
When you get your LELO Soroya Wave, register for the 1-year warranty right away and keep your receipt. This will protect against manufacturing defects.
My Experience with the LELO Soroya Wave
The LELO Soroya Wave looks luxurious — but how does it feel?
It’s no secret that G-spot vibrations alone can’t get me too far. They feel great, sure, but I definitely prefer manual/movement G-spot stimulation. So I was excited to try the Soroya Wave.

As you can see, the LELO Soroya Wave definitely doesn’t use a thrusting in/out motion. Rather, it’s a gentle up and down, rise and fall. And I have to say, despite it being a gentle movement, it helps launch the Soroya Wave into orgasmic territory.
My favourite mode is the one that uses vibration only in the clitoral shaft, plus shaft waving. This gives my clitoris the most amount of motor power, while giving me that tactile rubbing stimulation I need on my G-spot. Orgams come easily for me this way — although you might prefer one of the different combination patterns (for example, waiving plus G-spot vibration plus clitoral vibration).
While the LELO Soroya Wave has been orgasmic for me personally, I will say that the vibrations are not super duper strong or rumbly. That, and the waving motion is fairly loud (loud enough that I’d be worried if I had flatmates in the next room). This might be a dealbreaker.
The price might also be a dealbreaker — it’s an eye-watering $339 CAD (currently on sale for $257 CAD). This is an astronomical price for a sex toy nowadays, even ones with similar features and warranty. Before you make this purchase, you’ll want to consider how important aesthetics (because this one is gorgeous) and a manual come-hither motion are to you.
