Design
The Funejoy Clitoral Sucking Egg Vibrator is a teardrop-shaped sex toy that combines pressure wave sucking with conventional vibration.
It reminds us of a kitchen egg timer — I half expected to be able to twist it. With a tapered tip and a flat bottom, it’s certainly a unique and novel shape for a pressure wave toy.
The tapered tip of the egg is squishy, but it isn’t used for stimulation. The main stimulation area is the suction opening at the base.
At the base of the toy lies the suction opening. This is an opening about 1.2 cm wide. This is where the pressure wave magic happens!
WHAT IS PRESSURE WAVE TECHNOLOGY? Pressure wave technology provides touchless clitoral stimulation, which makes your clitoris feel like it’s being sucked by air. This sex tech first emerged around 2016, and since then I’ve witnessed (and reviewed) the technology spread across the industry. I was skeptical at first, and the technology is pretty bizarre, but it can be SUPER effective if done well. The Funejoy Clitoral Sucking Egg Vibrator combines pressure wave technology with conventional vibrations for an overall more intense experience.
The Funejoy Egg is coated in a lovely matte, silky red silicone. It’s a bright shade of cherry which I love. For decoration, there’s a thin band of rose-gold-coloured ABS plastic around the base.
The Funejoy Egg is only available through Funejoy’s Amazon store at the moment. I usually discourage shoppers from buying sex toys through Amazon because there are so many fake knock-offs of well-known sex toys on Amazon. However, I’m comfortable with this listing because Funejoy isn’t a brand with an independent shop (yet), and this is the link that Funejoy sent to me.
Accessibility
This section is to help folks determine if they might have any issues using/accessing this toy.
- Size: This is a fairly small (but wide) clitoral suction toy. By my measurements, it’s 9cm long by 5.7cm at the widest part. The opening of the suction head is 1.2cm.
- Weight: This weighs 133 grams.
- Buttons: There is one round button on the side of the body. It’s 1.1cm wide and sits flush with the surface. It’s engraved with a teardrop sign and quite hard to feel with your finger. Once you’ve found it, it doesn’t take much pressure to press down and makes a loud ‘click’ sound.
- Vibration Transfer: Though this is mostly a sucking toy, it does have a vibrating mode that comes on at the same time. A moderate amount of vibrations transfer to your hand when you hold it. If you have mobility issues like arthritis or Carpal Tunnel, you’ll want to use a sucking toy that doesn’t come with an automatic vibrating function.
- Visual notes: The button is the same colour (red) as the rest of the toy. If you have visual challenges, it’s hard to find the control button with your hands alone because it sits flush with the surface and only has a slight texture.
- Price: At $35 USD regular (and $25 USD sale price), this is an extremely good price for a toy with these features.
How to Use the Funejoy Clitoral Sucking Egg Vibrator
- To turn on the Funejoy Clitoral Sucking Egg Vibrator, press and hold the single button for 2 seconds. The suction (and some vibration) will turn on.
- Apply the nozzle to your clitoris. It’s best if the stimulation head is totally over the clitoris (you may need to part your labia a bit so that your clitoris can rest inside the opening as much as possible).
- Keep pressing the button to cycle through the 3 steady states and 7 patterns.
- To turn it off, press and hold the button again.
Packaging
The Funejoy Clitoral Sucking Egg Vibrator is packaged very tidily in a black box with gold branding. The box is cardboard but has a leather look to it — it’s quite high quality. Inside the box, you receive the Egg, a black USB charging cable, and the user manual.
Material and Care
The Funejoy Clitoral Sucking Egg Vibrator is made of silicone (the red portion) with an ABS plastic decorative ring.
Silicone is a great bodysafe material for sex toys because it’s nonporous and nontoxic. This particular silicone has a smooth and silky finish.
The Funejoy Clitoral Sucking Egg Vibrator is waterproof and submersible. To clean your toy, I rinse with warm, soapy water before and after each use (taking particular care to clean in any grooves around the ring. To make sure the inside is clean, I submerge it in water with the machine on, then shake the water out. I let it air dry before storing it away in the box it came in. See the manual for the official care instructions.
If you’d like to use lubricant, I suggest a water-based lubricant like my favourite Sliquid H2O (review here).
To charge, plug in the pin-end of the USB charging cord (included) into the little metal circle on the side of the toy. Plug the other side into your computer or a USB outlet. When charging, the button flashes a light; it has a steady light when it’s fully charged.
My Experience with the Funejoy Clitoral Sucking Egg Vibrator
The Funejoy Clitoral Sucking Egg Vibrator surprised me.
When I first turned it on and pressed the suction nozzle against my finger, I was skeptical about the strength of this product. But I was wrong.
The first thing that surprised me was just how ridiculously effective and pleasurable it is. The suction, coupled with light vibration, leads to shockingly quick orgasms, ones that leave my body exhausted and relaxed and tingly in the way that only good orgasms can.
The pleasure buildup is very quick, quicker than some (much more expensive) other suction-based toys I’ve tried.
The secret to its success, I think, is the vibration that comes on automatically. I consider the vibrations to be a bit buzzy, but that doesn’t matter, because the vibration is just the accompaniment to the suction stimulation. You don’t need strong vibrations here because the suction is the main draw.
The Funejoy Clitoral Sucking Egg Vibrator is not for the faint-of-clitoris. There is no soft/weak starting level. The first level feels strong and the second and third intensities are VERY strong. If you have an extremely sensitive clitoris, you’ll want to stay away.
The second thing that surprised me was just how inexpensive the Funejoy Clitoral Sucking Egg Vibrator is. For $25 USD, we’re getting a strong, effective, silicone, rechargeable, and waterproof sucking toy. To top it off, it even has a discreet design.
Are there any downsides to the Funejoy Clitoral Sucking Egg Vibrator?
Yes. At the time of posting, it appears that this toy is only available through the USA Amazon store — so not available to my readers in Canada or elsewhere unless they pay and ship in USD.
Second, this isn’t a quiet toy. It’s moderately noisy, so you’ll want to close your door and perhaps muffle the sound with blankets if you’re trying to be quiet.
But I can look past those two gripes.
Funejoy Clitoral Sucking Egg Vibrator Review – Overall Thoughts
The Funejoy Clitoral Sucking Egg Vibrator is a surprisingly good sex toy, especially considering the low price. For only $25 USD, you’re getting a pleasurable, waterproof, bodysafe, and rechargeable pressure wave toy. Plus, the design is cute and discreet. What more could I ask for?
