Design
The Tracy’s Dog OG3 is an “all-in-one solution” to sex toys. Instead of buying separate sex toys, this gives you three sex toys in one:
- A clitoral suction toy (this is the rounder portion with the stimulation head).
- A G-spot shaft that’s bendable.
- A combined dual-stimulation toy (ie rabbit) that simultaneously sucks your clitoris while vibrating against your G-spot.
To accomplish this, the Tracy’s Dog OG3 comes disassembled as two distinct parts, but it can be assembled together; the G-spot shaft slots into a loop at the back of the clitoral suction part, snuggly attaching and staying firm.
The Tracy’s Dog OG3 clitoral suction (pressure wave) part looks standard enough. It’s roughly ball-shaped and your finger can slide into a loop at the back. It comes with two interchangeable stimulation heads; one is rounder with a thicker lip, and the other is more oval with a thinner lip.
WHAT IS PRESSURE WAVE TECHNOLOGY? Pressure wave technology provides touchless clitoral stimulation, which makes your clitoris feel like it’s being sucked by air. This sex tech first emerged around 2016, and since then I’ve witnessed (and reviewed) the technology spread across the industry. I was skeptical at first, and the technology is pretty bizarre, but it can be SUPER effective. Its touchless orgasms can build gently but feel very intense, all without any temporary numbing that sometimes comes with conventional vibration.
The G-spot shaft is a bendable, dual-ended toy. Both ends vibrate, so you can use the hooked, textured end or the smoother, longer end. The shaft bends quite easily, which is a pity (it’s hard to get intense pressure when your toy keeps moving away from you!).
The Tracy’s Dog OG3 comes in one colour: a deep plum purple.
It is rechargeable, splashproof, and made of silky matte silicone. It also has a battery indicator so you know how the battery is doing, which is handy.
It’s also around $89 USD, which makes it far cheaper than many alternatives.
How to Use the Tracy’s Dog OG3
You can use the Tracy’s Dog OG3 in three different formats: clitoral only, shaft only, or combined double stimulator.
Clitoral suction function:
- To use just the clitoral portion, remove the shaft from the slot. Choose a stimulation head and center the stimulation head over your clitoris.
- There are 5 buttons on the OG3’s clitoral suction body; 3 on one side and 2 on the other. When you’re using just the suction function, you only use these 3 buttons.
- To turn it on, press and hold the power button (central button in the line of 3). A light will turn on to indicate it’s in standby mode.
- Tap the (+) and (–) buttons to cycle through the 3 intensity levels and 7 patterns.
- Long press the power button to turn it off.
Shaft function
- The shaft is controlled with a small button in the center of the body; it controls two motors (one is located at either end of his part).
- Long press it to turn it on. Short press it to cycle through the 3 intensities and 7 patterns. Long press it again to turn it off.
Combined dual-stimulation mode:
To assemble the OG3 into dual-stimulation mode, insert the shaft into the loop at the back of the clitoral suction part. I first tried to orientate the clitoral suction part so that the stimulation head was farthest away, but it didn’t fit together that way. The clitoral suction head must be orientated so that the ball end of the shaft falls neatly into the hole behind the loop.
Turn on both parts separately, and then insert the shaft while trying to center the suction head over your clitoris.
There are 2 buttons on the side of the clitoral suction part; these function as a remote control for the internal shaft, which I found neat. You can use those buttons to cycle through functions. When you’re ready to turn it off, remove the shaft and then turn it off using the regular power button.
Packaging
The Tracy’s Dog OG3 is packaged beautifully in a sleek black box with gold accents. When you lift the lid, the OG3 is nestled gently on a black foam pillow.
All in all, you receive the OG3, a spare stimulation head, the charging cord (this is a split cord that can charge both parts at once), the instructions manual, general safety instructions, a larger brochure on the OG3, several stickers/decals, and a card with information about their podcast. All of this fits into a fabric drawstring bag that’s also included.
Material and Care
The Tracy’s Dog OG3 is coated with silicone. This is a great material for a sex toy because it’s easy to clean, hygienic, and hypoallergenic.
This is listed in the Manual of Instructions as IPX6, which generally means only splashproof. To be safe, I would not submerge this in water.
To clean, disconnect from the charger. I rinse both parts in warm, soapy water before and after each use, and air dry it. Dust and lint seems to be attracted to this kind of silicone, so you’ll always want to rinse it before use.
Tracy’s Dog also carries a sex toy cleaner if you’d like one, though basic soap works fine for me.
If you’d like to add lubricant (which I always recommend), you could try a water-based lube like this one. Always avoid silicone-based lubricants with silicone sex toys, as they could damage the finish of any silicone toy.
To charge, use the included charging cable. It splits in two; insert the needle ends into the self-sealing charging ports on each part (it’s a circle faintly labelled DC). Plug the cord into your computer or a USB wall adapter. A light will flash while charging and grow steady once done. Both parts take about 90 minutes for a full charge and give you up to 60 minutes of playtime.
My Experience with the Tracy’s Dog OG3
Shaft portion
Let’s start with the shaft, shall we? The vibrations are moderately strong (though not rumbly), and I do love that extra bulbous & textured end.
Bendable G-spot shafts sound fantastic but, in practice, you quickly run into issues. Yes, it’s great that it’s so bendable that you can essentially turn it into a U-shaped rabbit! Unfortunately, the internal core is so weak that it can’t hold its shape. This means that I’m quickly accidentally straightening it out with my vagina (or my hands). The only way to retain its shape is to insert it and not move, which makes me rely entirely on the vibration strength.
Using it (without thrusting it) does feel great, don’t get me wrong, but it won’t satisfy people who absolutely need a good thrusting toy to dig against their G-spot.
Clitoral suction portion
How about the Tracy’s Dog OG3‘s clitoral suction part?
When using the clitoral suction part alone, I do like the easy buttons: Power, Increase, and Decrease. Having the option to go back to a softer level is great (nothing worse than having to cycle through many levels to get to one you accidentally sped past). I also like that they included two different stimulation heads. I’m a fan of the rounder, thicker-lipped one; it feels more cushioned and comfy!
Unfortunately, I’m left wishing that there was more power in the pressure wave motor. The air pulses leave me wanting; they just aren’t strong enough for me. They feel buzzy and moderately weak and it takes me a considerably long time to get to orgasm.
Combined dual-stimulator
So how does this feel when we assemble it together?
With any dual-stimulation / rabbit toy, you need to think about the distance between your vaginal opening to your clitoris; if the distance is greater than a rabbit allows, your clitoris won’t get stimulated. I have a longer distance personally (about 2″), so I have experienced being quite frustrated by this. But this toy, specifically, uses pressure wave stimulation, which relies on an air-tight fit around your clitoris; so the ANGLE is very important as well.
When I assemble the Tracy’s Dog OG3 together and center the stimulation head over my clitoris, I’m left getting perhaps about 2″ of the straight shaft internally, angled downwards away from my G-spot. If I shift the shaft so that it’s angled deeply and fully against my G-spot, then the placement and air-tightness of the stimulation head go wrong.
In other words, this didn’t work (at all) for me as an effective dual-stimulation toy.
If you have a shorter clitoris-to-vagina distance, you’ll likely have better luck.
Tracy’s Dog OG3 Review – Overall Thoughts
The Tracy’s Dog OG3 gives you a taste of three different kinds of sex toys: pressure wave clitoral stimulator, G-spot vibrator, and dual-stimulation rabbit. Personally, I liked the G-spot shaft portion when used alone; the vibrations are good. Unfortunately, its extra bendy inner core won’t allow for any firm pressure. The clitoral suction part, for me, wasn’t strong enough to be effective. And the assembled dual stimulator rabbit format just didn’t suit my body’s dimensions or angles.
I do have to hand it to them though; I like that this is essentially a 3-in-1 sex toy kit. You can experience three different kinds of pleasure for under $90, which is rare. I’m left wishing it was more pleasurable, but your own body might have better luck!
