Design
The Junibell is a GORGEOUS dual-stimulating vibrator from Tracy’s Dog. Like a rabbit, it is designed to stimulate your G-spot and clitoris at the same time. But unlike convention rabbits, it doesn’t have any ghastly “ears” and its swirled clitoral arm can accommodate a wider range of body measurements (ie shorter vs longer clitoral-to vagina distances).
The Tracy’s Dog Junibell essentially looks like a fancy letter “V”. The insertable portion is the bottom tip of the V; it is ridged for some extra textured stimulation and features a motor in the very tippy tip.
The shaft forks; one goes straight(ish) and that is the handle; the other curls around and that is the clitoral motor.
The Tracy’s Dog Junibell is water-resistant, rechargeable, and coated in silky soft silicone. It comes in one colour: lavender, which is a lovely gentle pastel shade of purple.
I also love the name! Junibell suits it and brings to mind lovely spring flowers.
How to Use the Tracy’s Dog Junibell
- The Tracy’s Dog Junibell has two buttons near the base of the toy.
- To turn it on, press and hold the power button for 3 seconds. It’ll turn on in standby mode.
- Apply water-based lubricant and insert the tip of the V, angling the clitoral swirl so that it rests over your clitoris.
- Tap the power button again to activate clitoral vibrations. Keep pressing it to cycle through the 4 steady states and 6 patterns.
- Press the 🗲 button to turn on the G-spot motor. Keep tapping to cycle through its 4 steady states and 6 patterns.
- To turn it off, press and hold the power button.
Packaging
The Tracy’s Dog Junibell is packaged neatly in a black box covered with a red sleeve. The Junibell is pictured on the front. When you lift open the lid, you find the Junibell nestled in some foam. All in all, you receive the Junibell, a USB charging cord, two packets of lubricants, an instructions manual and safety instructions. You also receive a large purple satin storage pouch.
Overall, the packaging feels good quality and gift-worthy.
Material and Care
The Tracy’s Dog Junibell is coated with silky soft silicone. This is a fantastic material for a sex toy because it’s easy to clean, hygienic, and hypoallergenic.
The website says this is “IPX7 water-resistant”, and IPX7 typically means that you can submerge it. However, the safety instructions clearly state “Do not immerse the product in water” so I’m confused. To be safe, I’m simply considering this splashproof.
To clean, disconnect from the charger. I rinse in warm, soapy water before and after each use, and air dry it. Tracy’s Dog also carries a sex toy cleaner if you’d like one, though basic soap works fine for me.
If you’d like to add lubricant (which I always recommend), try a water-based lube like this one (two sample packets are included in your Junibell box). Avoid silicone-based lubricants, which will damage the finish of any silicone toy.
To charge, attach the magnetic end of the charging cord against the two little metal pins near the base of your toy. Plug the cord into your computer or a USB wall adapter. A light will flash while charging and grow steady once done. A full charge takes 2.5 hours and lasts about 1.5 hours.
My Experience with the Tracy’s Dog Junibell
I was curious to test the Tracy’s Dog, Junibell because I haven’t ever tried a dual-stimulator with this kind of design. The “V” design is fairly novel. It reminds me of the (now quite old) Silhouette Swan by BMS Factory… although, if some inspiration was drawn from it, Tracy’s Dog certainly made some modifications, with thinner arms, a more curly clitoral shaft, and a more tapered G-spot vibrator. I never owned the Silhouette Swan, so I can’t compare them beyond that.
To my delight, the Tracy’s Dog Junibell is surprisingly good. Once the shaft is coated in lubricant, it glides comfortably and curves around upwards towards my G-spot. The clitoral arm bends slightly during thrusts, but there is no pinching or discomfort. Once it’s in as deep as it can go, I find I can make very slight shallow thrusts while maintaining contact with the clitoral portion, which is ideal — this gives me G-spot mechanical (as well as vibration) stimulation and clitoral stimulation at the same time.
And the motors pack a punch! Both the clitoral and G-spot motors are moderately strong, and fairly rumbly. I have been able to clitorally orgasms quickly.
Even with both motors on at top speed, it’s a relatively quiet toy. I’m not worried about anyone overhearing this through a closed door (especially not when I’m using this under my blanket).
With this design, however, I find it impossible to get intensive G-spot stimulation. The G-spot shaft doesn’t curve quite steeply enough, and if I want to prioritize clitoral stimulation, the G-spot motor is often lying just a bit too deep inside to really intensely focus a G-spot angle. But, different bodies will likely have different experiences with this (given that everyone has slightly different measurements and angles).
Tracy’s Dog Junibell Review – Overall Thoughts
The Tracy’s Dog Junibell is a good dual-stimulator, surprisingly good considering it’s only $38. The motors are strong and rumbly, the design cleverly gives you both internal and external stimulation, and it’s silicone and rechargeable. I also just love the colour and aesthetics of this design, and think it could make a good gift.
