Design
The BMS Swan Era Petite Wand is a teenie bite-sized wand from BMS Factory. I love products from this manufacturer because I’ve known them to deliver powerful vibrations at affordable prices.
At $59 USD, this is a mid-priced wand — a little pricier than some, but much cheaper than others.
This is truly a very small clitoral wand. It’s only about 5½ inches long, with a 1½ inch wide head and a 3½ inch handle. It’s tiny!
Despite its small size, the BMS Swan Era Petite Wand is elegant and packed with features. It’s waterproof, rechargeable, and coated in silky soft silicone. The head is rounded, the neck slightly flexible, and the handle is seamless. It’s decorated only with some elegant swoopy designs down the handle. The single button lies on the handle, relatively large and easy to press.
The Swan Era Wand comes in a STUNNING colour: periwinkle blue. It’s a rare colour to see in sex toys, and I’m digging it; so breezy and calming.
How to Use the BMS Swan Era Petite Wand
- The BMS Swan Era Wand is controlled by a single button on the handle.
- It comes travel locked. To unlock it, tap the button 3 times.
- Press it against your body. Though designed for clitoral pleasure, you could also use this elsewhere (like the shaft of a penis). This is only for external use, however.
- Once it’s unlocked, tap the button and it will start at its lowest power.
- This toy uses incremental strength. The longer you press the button, the stronger it will vibrate.
- To stop vibration, tap the button.
- To lock it for travel, tap the button quickly 3 times.
Packaging
The BMS Swan Era Petite Wand comes packaged beautifully in a deep navy blue box. The box is high quality and gift-worthy, and opens with an elegant flip lid.
Inside the box, you receive the wand, the charging cord, a satin drawstring pouch, an instruction guide, and a thank you card.
Material and Care
The BMS Swan Era Petite Wand is made from silicone. Silicone is a fantastic material for a sex toy because it’s easy to clean, hygienic, and hypoallergenic.
This wand is waterproof (IPX7)! That means you can take it into your bathtub or hot tub… and it makes cleaning a breeze. To clean, I simply rinse it in warm, soapy water before and after each use.
If you’d like to add lubricant (which I always recommend), try a good quality, water-based lube like my favourite basic Sliquid H2O.
This wand comes with a small initial charge. To charge, attach the magnetic end of the USB charging cord to the two little pins at the base of the handle. There are 4 LED lights along the handle that indicates battery level. When it’s fully charged, all 4 lights will glow.
This toy comes with a 1-year warranty from BMS Factory; hang onto your receipt and see their website for details.
Always consult your user manual for full instructions.
My Experience with the BMS Swan Era Petite Wand
The BMS Swan Era Petite Wand has quickly become one of my favourites. It’s tiny, but mighty.
This company knows how to pack power into small packages; the BMS Swan Era Petite Wand‘s power is impressive, especially given how small the motor must be. When I first turned it on, I kept being surprised that it went up another and another notch in strength. I can’t quite handle the top speed myself, which is saying something.
The power is mostly rumbly with a tiny bit of buzz — a delicious combination. The vibrations can be felt throughout my vulva, and orgasms come quickly.
Although this is a wand, the narrow 1½ inch head feels fairly pinpoint. The surface of the head is also firm, so I can press it hard against me to get deep pressure. The result is that I can get targeted, firm pressure against my clitoris.
If you know you’re more of a broad-stimulation person, you might want to opt for a larger full-size wand instead (or a small one with a large head like this).
Despite its power, the BMS Swan Era Petite Wand is not overly noisy. I’m not particularly concerned when I have the door closed that someone is going to want to come investigate.
I also love the super small size. This fits into a purse very easily and doesn’t get in the way during sex.
The only complaint I have is that incremental speed. The longer you press, the stronger it vibrates. I’m old-fashioned and still prefer simple buttons that require a single press to go to the next speed. But I know other people who prefer toys with incremental speeds, so this depends on you and it’s not a deal breaker.
