BeMoreKinky App Review

January 11, 2026 by Miss Ruby Leave a Comment

An app that lets you explore fantasies, kinks, and preferences with your partner. Read on for my BeMoreKinky App review!

Overview of the BeMoreKinky App

BeMoreKinky is a relationship-focused app to help partners explore, communicate, and better understand their own (and each other’s!) sexual preferences. It does this through guided quizzes.

The app assumes (perhaps correctly so) that these conversations in real time can be awkward for couples. By giving a structured, low-pressure way for couples to explore their sexual and kink preferences (including their boundaries), this app helps take away the awkwardness and any guesswork/assumptions about your partner’s opinions on certain kinks. By framing role-play, kink, and dirty talk as a shared, no-judgement mutual exploration, BeMoreKinky aims to make conversations about sex feel more approachable.

The app is free to install and lets you access several categories of quizzes and profiles. Some, however, are reserved for premium members. Fortunately, if you purchase a premium membership, your linked partner will also gain a premium membership automatically.

From what I can see, this app is mostly geared toward people who want to deepen their connection or reignite sexual curiosity in their relationship. At its core, BeMoreKinky promises to turn private preferences into meaningful dialogue.

Why the Quiz-based approach?

The quiz-based approach might sound cheesy or like something from an old Cosmopolitan magazine, but it works. The app presents you with a huge range of quizzes (divided into different broad categories such as Sensation Play, Domination & Praise, Devices (ie sex toys), Bondage, Roleplay, Fantasies, etc). Each category has several subcategories (ie, “Roleplay” is divided into quizzes on Flirty Roleplays, Taboo Roleplays, Power Dynamic Roleplays, and Fantasy Roleplays).

These quizzes guide you through a safe, structured, low-pressure set of questions. Each question presents you with an activity, and you simply rate your interest in it (X, ?, or ♥) for no, maybe, and yes! Once you’ve finished each quiz, you can review your answers. Your answers will appear in your partner’s app, and their answers to quizzes they’ve completed will appear in the Partner section of your app.

Honestly, this works. This takes away the pressure of talking about sensitive or potentially awkward topics on the spot. It also helps normalize kinks in a way — It certainly helps to reduce stigma and anxiety that you might have over some of your kinks, making it easier for you to engage with topics that you might otherwise avoid.

As you can see from the above, there’s a lot of room for exploration, ranging from barely kinky to intensely kinky.

Consent

I want to note that I love how much this app emphasizes the importance of consent and shared mutual interest. There are entire quizzes on how you prefer to set your boundaries. This is so important and I’m glad to see BeMoreKinky emphasize consent as an important and non-negotiable foundation. It’s not added as an afterthought — the creators of this app have obviously made it a priority.

That’s not to say that non-consent isn’t included in the app as a fantasy — some quizzes gauge your interest in fantasies around non-consent, reluctance, blackmail, kidnapping, etc. The point I’m making is that the app is reminding users that you can participate in these types of non-consent fantasies if you and your partner are mutually interested and consenting to them.

Using the App and Partnering Up

Using the BeMoreKinky App is straightforward. You sign in, click through a few privacy policy boxes, and start building your profile and preferences. There are clear instructions. To link to your partner’s account, you simply generate a unique code through the app, and they can plug it in on their end, and voila! From there on, you can see each other’s preferences and quiz results. You can also create a play proposal for your partner (kind of like a calendar invitation), and there’s a button that lets you signal to your partner that you’re in the mood

Quizzes

At this time, here are the current categories of quizzes. Each quiz asks you to rate your interest in activities, phrases, actions, etc.

Note that some quizzes are only available to premium members.

  • Submissive Names (with quizzes on Degrading Feminine Titles, Degrading Masculine Titles, and Endearing Names)
  • Sensation Play (Positions, Sensory Play, Impact Play, Temperature)
  • Femdom (with quizzes on Strict Femdom Phrases, Strict Femdom, Gentle Femdom, Soft Femdom Phrases, and Soft femdom phrases for subs)
  • Soft Domination and Praise (with quizzes on Soft Domination, Praise phrases for doms, and Speaking to your soft dom).
  • Psychological Play (with quizzes on Humiliation, Services, Discipline, Chastity, Chastity Phrases, Anticipation, and Position & Display)
  • Sensual (with quizzes on Marking, Romance, and Food)
  • Non-monogamy (with quizzes on Group Play, Cuckolding, Cuckolding phrases, and Exhibitionism)
  • Devices (with a quiz on preferences around toys)
  • Bondage (with a quiz on preferences around beginner bondage)
  • Roleplay (with a quiz on preferences around Flirty Roleplays, Taboo Roleplays, Power Dynamic Roleplays, and Fantasy Roleplays).
  • Dominant Names (with a quiz on preferences on what you’d like to call your dom)
  • Fantasies (with quizzes on clothing, breeding play ideas, breeding phrases for subs, and breeding phrases for doms).
  • Private Idea (This allows you to create a custom activity to be shared privately with your partner)

Another thing to note is that each quiz can be viewed from your perspective as a Dominant or Submissive. This changes the phrasing to be more relevant to you.

I’m sure this will change and evolve. But as of this month, these are the options.

Building your Profiles

BeMoreKinky also lets you build your own personal profiles. This is less about what sexual activities you’re open to (or not) and more about what’s going on inside your brain in the moment. It’s much more specific, more detailed, and lets you (and your partner) really understand where your enjoyment lies. Ie, not just “do you want to spank your partner” but more letting you rate how much you enjoy seeing marks or bruises, etc.

There are sooo many profiles, ranging from aftercare needs and BDSM orientation to exhibitionism, age play, and gender play. You choose which profiles you want to do (and can ignore ones you’re absolutely not interested in).

Aesthetics

I want to add a note on aesthetics. The artwork is beautiful. It feels dark and brooding, but not scary. It’s not pornographic or visually explicit, but it’s still sensual.

Privacy

Given the sensitive nature of these questions, obviously, I was concerned about privacy.

I asked the app creator what kind of user data they have access to, and this was their response:  “Because of the sensitivity of this data, collection is extremely minimal and obfuscated. If someone signs up with an email, this is stored to allow users to log in, but not exposed beyond the authorization service. We also don’t collect age or specific location. Everything is also encrypted in rest and transit.”

Their website goes further into their safety here. Honestly, I’m happy with that.

Limitations?

One thing that might be an issue for some people is that you can only add one partner connection at a time. While this doesn’t impact me personally, I can see it frustrating polyamorous folks. Hopefully, the ability to add more than one partner connection at a time can be added in a later release.

BeMoreKinky App Review – Overall Thoughts

Honestly, this is an amazing app. It’s a great idea, and it has helped my partner and me talk about some of our own desires that we’ve been too embarrassed to bring up (yes, that even happens to sex bloggers!). I was worried that it would feel gimmicky or sleezy, but it absolutely doesn’t. It’s a practical, useful relationship aid that helps open up an important sexual dialogue. I highly recommend it.

You can pick up the BeMoreKinky App here for iOS and here for Android!
